도서『페미니즘으로 다시 쓰는 옛이야기』는 콩쥐팥쥐, 구미호, 홍길동, 선녀와 나무꾼 이야기를 완전히 새롭게 다시 쓴 창작 이야기에 작가의 에세이를 덧붙인 도서이다.

페미니즘 도서 전문 출판사 이프북스가 2년간 공들여 기획하고 갈등 중재와 교육, 번역과 저술, 콘텐츠 기획, 심리 치유의 영역에서 페미니스트로 활동하는 이들을 작가로 섭외해 제작한 만큼 작품성과 메시지가 뛰어난 작품들로 구성되었다.

창작 이야기 「신콩쥐팥쥐」는 콩쥐, 콩쥐의 아빠, 팥쥐 그리고 팥쥐의 엄마 등 기존 콩쥐팥쥐에 등장하는 인물들 각자의 상황을 내밀하고 설득력 있게 그려내면서 동시에 서로 사랑하고 서로를 살려내는 관계로 발전시켰다.

「홍길영전」은 ‘홍길동전’의 원천 스토리라 할 수 있는 ‘아기 장수 민담’에서 남녀 간의 힘 대결을 주요 모티브로 한 ‘오누이 힘겨루기’ 민담이 파생되었다는 사실에 착안. 홍길동에게 그만큼 힘이 세고 그보다 더 창의력 넘치는 누나인 홍길영의 존재를 드러내 새로운 이야기로 만들어냈다.

「꼬리가 아홉인 이야기」에서는 우리나라에서 전형적인 '팜므파탈' 이미지로 은유되어 왔던 ‘구미호’를 말 못 하는 짐승으로 취급받은 한 여성의 이야기로 비극적이면서도 담담하게 단편소설의 형식으로 표현했다.

「하늘 재판 극, 고통을 벗고 치유의 날개옷을 입다」에서는 ‘선녀와 나무꾼'의 첫 딸 '마야'가 나무꾼과 사슴 그리고 할머니(나무꾼의 엄마)를 하늘로 소환해 하늘에서 재판을 받게 하는 심리 치유 희곡으로 쓰였다. 이 작품에서는 페미니스트 심리 치유사의 경험과 시선으로 ‘선녀와 나무꾼’이야기에서 우리가 놓쳤던 가정폭력으로 인한 다양하고 뚜렷한 피해의 사실들과 징후들을 친절하게 안내하고 있다.

또 부록으로는 1991년도에 발표된 단군신화 속 웅녀와 호녀를 한국 여성의 정체성과 연결해 연구한 논문 ‘단군신화에 나타난 한국 여성의 분열-웅녀와 호녀의 이야기’가 첨부되었다.

코로나로 모두가 일상의 변화를 맞은 이때 한국의 #미투운동 그 이후 살아남은 그리고 살아남아야 할 여성들이 이 책으로 자신만의 이야기를 만들기를 바란다.

The book "The Old Story of Rewriting in Feminism" is a book that adds the author's essay to a creative story that completely rewrites the stories of Kongjwi Patjwi, Gumiho, Hong Gil-dong, Seonnyeo and Woodcutter.

It consists of works with excellent work and message, as IfBooks, a publishing company specializing in feminist books, has worked hard to plan and produce for two years, recruiting feminists in the areas of conflict mediation and education, translation and writing, content planning, and psychological healing.

The creative story "New Kongjwi Patjwi" developed a relationship in which each of the characters in the existing Kongjwi Patjwi, such as Kongjwi, Kongjwi's father, Padjwi, and Padjwi's mother, secretly and convincingly depicted the situation of each other, while at the same time loving each other and saving each other.

"Hong Gil-youngjeon" is based on the fact that the "Oneunui Fighting" folk tale, which is the main motif of the power confrontation between men and women, was derived from the "Baby Longevity Folk Story," which is the source story of "Hong Gil-dongjeon." It revealed the existence of Hong Gil-young, who is so strong and more creative than Hong Gil-dong, and made it a new story.

In "The Story of Nine Tails," the story of a woman treated as a reticent beast, who has been metaphorized as a typical "Palmme Fatal" image in Korea, is expressed in the form of a tragic and calm short story.

In "Heavenly Trial Play, Take Off the Pain and Wear the Wings of Healing", "Maya," the first daughter of "The Fairy and the Woodman," was used as a psychological healing play that summoned the woodcutter, deer, and grandmother (the woodcutter's mother) to heaven to be tried. In this work, the experience and gaze of a feminist psychotherapist kindly guides the facts and signs of various and distinct damages caused by domestic violence that we missed in the story of "The Fairy and the Woodcutter."

In addition, an appendix was attached to the thesis "The Divide of Korean Women in the Dangun Myth: The Story of Ungyeo and Ho-nyeo" published in 1991 by linking the Ungyeo and Ho-nyeo in the Dangun Myth with the identity of Korean women.

Il est composé d'œuvres et de messages exceptionnels car l'éditeur de livres féministes Ifbooks a travaillé pendant deux ans pour planifier et produire des œuvres féministes dans le domaine de l'arbitrage des conflits, de l'éducation, de la traduction, de l'écriture, de la planification du contenu et de la guérison psychologique.
