《경희한국어 중급 2 듣고 말하기》는 한국어를 배우려는 성인 학습자를 위한 한국어 교재 6단계 중 네 번째에 해당하는 교재이다. 중급 한국어 학습자가 중급 2 단계에서 반드시 알아야 할 주제와 상황을 중심으로 구성되었고, 학습자의 의사소통 능력을 향상시키기 위해서 실제적이고 다양한 듣기 활동과 말하기 활동을 배치하였다. 이 책을 통해 학습자는 친숙한 사회적 소재로 이루어지는 일상적인 대화와 공적인 관계에서 이루어지는 대화를 듣고 이해할 수 있으며 들은 내용과 관련해서 한국어로 의사소통을 할 수 있는 능력을 갖출 수 있다.

이 책의 특징

*학습자에게 비교적 친숙한 사회적인 주제와 상황을 중심으로 총 10개의 단원으로 구성하였다.

*단원의 도입에는 학습 내용과 관련된 삽화와 질문을 함께 제시하여 학습자가 주제에 대한 흥미와 호기심을 가질 수 있도록 하였다.

*각 단원은 듣고 말하기가 연속될 수 있도록 구성되어 있으며 한 단원은 두 개의 과로 구분되어 있다.

*단원의 첫 번째 과는 듣기 전 활동▶듣기▶들은 후 활동▶말하기 전 활동으로 구성되어 있으며 두 번째 과의 제시 순서는 첫 번째 과의 제시 순서와 동일하다.

*각 단원의 마지막은 발음, 어휘 및 표현, 자기 점검으로 구성하였다.

*발음은 듣고 말하기에 나오는 본문 중에서 선별하였으며 중급 단계에 맞는 발음 규칙을 구체적으로 제시하였다.

*어휘 및 표현은 본문 듣기와 말하기 활동과 관련된 어휘 목록으로 제시하였으며 알고 있는 어휘 및 표현을 표시하는 칸을 주어 학습자 스스로 자기 점검을 할 수 있도록 구성하였다.
