이화여대 언어교육원이 새롭게 개발한 탁월한 의사소통 중심 한국어 교재!!

『새 이화 한국어』는 한국어 교육을 선도하는 이화여자대학교 언어교육원이 새롭게 개발한 의사소통 중심의 한국어 교재로, 이화여대 언어교육원의 고유한 특성인 의사소통 중심 학습과 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기의 통합성을 유지하면서도 더욱 효과적이고 다채로운 교수 방식과 학습 내용을 제시하고 있다.
1급은 총 12과로 구성되어 있으며, 1-1에는 1-6과, 1-2에는 7-12과가 수록되어 있다. 각 단원은 다시 세 개의 소단원으로 나누어 하나의 주제에 대해 다양한 기능을 충분히 연습할 수 있도록 하고, 각 단원마다 ‘문화’ 섹션을 넣어 특징적인 한국의 문화를 살펴봄과 동시에 다른 나라 문화와 비교하면서 한국어를 다시 한번 연습할 수 있게 했다. 또한 단원 마지막에는 ‘어휘와 표현 확인’ 섹션을 넣어 그 단원에서 배운 어휘와 표현들을 점검할 수 있도록 구성했다. 듣기 자료는 교재의 해당 부분에 QR 코드를 넣어 학습자가 바로 실행할 수 있도록 했으며, 이화여대출판문화원 홈페이지에서 듣기 자료 mp3를 다운받을 수도 있다.
『새 이화 한국어』 시리즈의 특징을 좀더 구체적으로 설명하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 문법의 비중을 낮추고 재미있으면서도 실제적인 의사소통 과제의 비중을 높임으로써 수업 내용이 실생활로 전이될 수 있도록 했다.
둘째, 어휘와 표현, 문법 섹션은 단순히 언어 지식을 쌓는 것에 그치지 않도록 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기와 연계를 활용한 유의미한 연습을 제시했다.
셋째, 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기의 네 가지 언어 기능의 균형 있는 발전을 유도하면서도 주도적으로 말하기를 이끌어가는 능력을 기를 수 있도록 대화, 역할극, 그룹 활동 등 활동 방식과 참여 인원 등을 다양화한 말하기 과제를 제시했다.
넷째, 듣기와 말하기, 읽기와 말하기, 읽기와 쓰기 등 여러 기능을 연계하고 통합한 과제를 제시함으로써 구어와 문어 학습이 긴밀하게 연계될 수 있도록 구성했다.
또한 학습자 편의를 위하여 1급과 2급은 영어판, 일본어판, 중국어 간체판, 중국어 번체판의 네 가지 버전으로 제작되며, 앞으로 『새 이화 한국어』 시리즈는 1급에서 6급까지 총 32종의 교재와 워크북이 출간될 예정이다.

Level 1 consists of a total of 12 departments, and 1-1 contains 1-6 departments and 1-2 includes 7-12 departments. Each unit is divided into three sub-units so that you can fully practice various functions on one topic, and a 'culture' section is added for each unit to examine the characteristic Korean culture and to practice Korean again while comparing it with other countries' cultures. At the end of the unit, a 'verify vocabulary and expressions' section was included so that the vocabulary and expressions learned in the unit could be checked. The listening material can be executed immediately by inserting a QR code in the corresponding part of the textbook, and you can also download the listening material mp3 on the website of Ewha Womans University Press Cultural Center.

The characteristics of the "New Ewha Korean" series are as follows.

First, by lowering the weight of grammar and increasing the weight of fun and practical communication tasks, the content of the class can be transferred to real life.

Second, the vocabulary, expression, and grammar sections presented meaningful exercises using listening, speaking, reading, writing, and linkage so as not to simply build language knowledge.

Third, we presented a variety of speaking tasks such as conversation, role play, and group activities to develop the ability to lead speaking while leading the balanced development of the four language functions of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Fourth, it is structured so that spoken language and octopus learning can be closely linked by presenting tasks that link and integrate various functions such as listening and speaking, reading and speaking, and reading and writing.

In addition, for the convenience of learners, the first and second levels will be produced in four versions: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Chinese, and in the future, a total of 32 textbooks and workbooks will be published in the "New Ewha Korean" series from grades 1 to 6.
